Google announces its China strategy
Google is no longer censoring search and news results in China and has begun routing traffic to its Hong Kong-based service, although it is "well aware that [the Chinese government] could at any time block access to our services," according to a blog post by Google's David Drummond. Google said it will maintain other services as well as sales and research offices in China. The Wall Street Journal

Microsoft is steadfast in staying the course in China
The move by China's government to censor Google search results and recent security breaches against the search titan aren't deterring Microsoft from doing business with China. "We have done business in China for over 20 years, and we intend to continue our business in China," said Cornelia Kutterer, Microsoft senior manager for regulatory policy in Brussels.
